Welcome to the Freising Childminders!
Caring for children requires a wide range of skills!
Becoming a childminder involves close cooperation between the Child Daycare Department at the Freising District Office (Fachbereich Kindertagespflege im Landratsamt Freising) and the Childminding Centre (Tageselternzentrum).

InspectionThe childminding centre conducts an unannounced visit at least once a year for quality assurance purposes. For safety reasons, a new certificate of good conduct (Führungszeugnis) is required from all adults in the household every five years. The care permit is issued for a maximum of five children and must be renewed every five years. |

ReliabilityIf the childminder is unavailable at short notice, the childminder centre (Tageselternzentrum - Kinderstube) will provide substitute care. |
A widespread misunderstanding:
Children from daycare are not disadvantaged in the kindergarten placement process!
